Now Back To The Collapse

The nation that once held the creed that greatness is achieved by production is now told that it is achieved by squalor  - Francisco D'Anconia, Altas Shrugged
Against my better judgement I posted on the Penn State tragedy Friday.  But this blog serves as "couch therapy": for me and I had to get that off my chest.  Interestingly, it generated the highest amount of comments of any post in the history of this blog (since late 2009).  The only other one that came close is when I skewered Glenn Beck and his defenders came out of the woodwork.  Glenn Beck just happened to be essentially fired from Fox a few months later...

But the fact of the matter is that the Penn State tragedy, the collapse of MF Global and the fraud and theft engulfing that situation, the fact that a sexual assault perp like Harold Cain can persist as a Republican Presidential candidate front-runner and the fact that the people who control the big banks and manufacturing companies can openly and illegally steal $100's of billions from the public with very little resistance all have the same common underlying dynamic:  the collapse of an empire.
When you have made evil the means of survival, do not expect men to remain good. Do not expect them to stay moral and lose their lives for the purpose of becoming the fodder of the immoral. Do not expect them to produce, when production is punished and looting rewarded. Do not ask, 'Who is destroying the world?' You are.  (Francisco D'Anconia, Atlas Shrugged)
Enjoy what you can, while you can, as much as you can, because the way of life we have come to take for granted in this country for the last 50 years is not going to be around much longer...

So I should stop buying gold, freeze dried food, guns & ammo and max out my fiat money/credit on hookers and cocaine instead?

  3. This pretty well sums it up, i.e., who owns us, i.e. controls and manipulates finances, societies and even the environment.

Every time precious metals moves against the obvious, well, someone's name associated with the names at this site is making that one phone call to move the various markets where ever they choose for them to go.

They will be continuing to generate trillions during another, well planned out, "collapse", while strengthening their fascist positions.

  5. Then Dave, when will you exit to Galt's Gulch? Is your bug out bag packed?

  6. A somber post but truthful nevertheless. The world's burning and collapsing right before our eyes and the majority doesn't seem to notice one bit what is happening around them and are not compel to take action. Add sinoforest to your list to billion dollar fraud perpetuated in the last decade.

  7. Dave, get your facts correct. Glenn Beck was NOT fired from Fox News; he left on his own accord to start GBTV; go RESEARCH it. Interestingly, the only other time I've criticized you is when you wrote that bullshit GB piece.

  8. It is a tragedy in the making. But not just in America, Europe too. There is not sufficient understanding of the danger facing the populations of many countries, the decaying of democracy and the looting and debauchery by the few. The risk is that we will all wake up as slaves in a land where we were once free.

  9. It's Herman Cain. Funny, from McCain in 2008 to a front-running Cain. Is the mark of Cain on the red staters?

    Yup....

One Honest Judge, Two Lying Political Parties

The problem with such "fines" is that the record demonstrates that they provide no deterrent at all. As I have repeatedly pointed out if the penalty for robbing a bank was that you had to give back 1/3rd of the loot -- and that's all -- the bank would be robbed literally every hour on the hour.

The political folks who utterly refuse to address this issue - including the so-called "Tea Party" (Joe Walsh anyone? Or how about Steve Southerland?) are simply pointing out that you are considered peasants and under the boot of an imperious King who grants those in his favor the right to screw you with impunity.

If you continue to support and vote for these jackals on either side of the aisle -- if you continue to provide consent of the governed to the government under those terms -- then you're consenting to being screwed.

    It's that simple folks

  13. Dave this just shows how much diversion and control the MSM has. Some people might be aware but the reality is "let's take a siesta from the real problems and talk about JoePa."

My comment on the "chain of command" was misconstrued as a defense but such was not the intent. The intent was the Institutional fraud or rather criminality of the situation.

This whole country is awash in apathy to criminality and outright fraud but I don't care! Yea right, book em Danno.

  15. I don't what your concerns are just look everything is going to get seriously investigated "Chuck Ardo stated that in conversations he has had with high ranking officials with knowledge of the situation at Penn State Tom Ridge would be welcomed as the leading candidate” (to replace outgoing PSU President Graham Spanier)."

What can wrong with Tom Ridge former head of Homeland Security running the show he's bound to in vestigate it thoroughly. It's not like it will bring him into conflict with any body like Marvin Bush is it or that there is a history of whacking investigators is it?

The Second Mile Foundation was recognized as one of President Bush’s 1000 Points of Light. Marvin P. Bush is on the National Collegiate Athletic Association Board of Directors along with Sandusky.
In 1998, district attorney Ray Gricar chose not to prosecute Sandusky after reports about Sandusky and boys surfaced. In 2005, Gricar went missing. There was an abandoned car and a laptop recovered months later in a river; the hard drive was missing from the computer. Gricar's body was never found.

Meanwhile back in Europe The Vampire Squid bankers are sending in their sapper teams to demolish the southern European economies. Lucas Papademos, the new Greek PM, is a former deputy to Jean Claude Trichet at the ECB and is a member of the Trilateral Commission. Mario Monti touted as the new Italian PM is not only a member of the Trilateral Commission but also heads the Bilderberg European branch. And Monti is on the Goldman Sachs International Advisory board.

Did you notice that these new leaders are to be installed and Austerity cuts are to be enacted before elections are to be permitted?

Look's like we are all going to get a dose of the Sandusky method.

  16. Dave - the whole world is due a wake up call and the West is going to have a massive realignment in living standards. The Occupy movement is still too disjointed but comments on different blogs and sites are starting to educate the masses. I moved into the physical market late in the game but have been stacking since the start of the year as a hedge against the very likely collapse. We are entering uncharted territory. So glad I moved away from Europe and back to NZ. Have added your blog to my recommended reading list. Thanks Robert

  17. MF Global clients cry foul over JPMorgan tactics in bankruptcy recovery

It’s not just the protesters at Zuccotti Park who complain big banks are trampling on the little guy.

Smaller customers of MF Global believe bank giant JPMorgan Chase, run by CEO Jamie Dimon, is angling to cut ahead of them in MF’s long line of creditors.

Some MF clients are planning to file a motion in Manhattan bankruptcy court today, led by James Koutoulas, chief executive of a Chicago commodities trading firm, in a bid to boost their chances of recovery from the eighth-largest bankruptcy in US history.

At issue is a lien and other protections given to JPMorgan, MF’s largest lender, in exchange for an $8 million loan the bank gave to MF on its first day of bankruptcy.

The latter option will devastate customers like Foti Georgiadis, a day trader who had close to $1 million in one of MF’s plain-vanilla brokerage accounts for stock and bond holders.

The Malibu, Calif., investor said he’s been unable to access his account since the bankruptcy and has gotten no word about when or whether his assets will ever be released to him.

“I can’t get out of my positions. I can’t pay my bills. I can’t feed my family,” he said. “Why don’t you just kill me?”

  18. Normally I sgree with virtually everything you say...however I have to disagree with your judgment and conclusion that Cain is somehow some serial sexual harrasser. I don't even really like Cain.

There is no shortage of crazy people (40 million psychotropic drug users) willing to turn the slightest gesture into the crime of the century. The women in the Cain case are falling away rapidly as an examination of their histories and false claims are rising to the surface. Sometimes there is not strength in numbers and the veracity of unreported 14 year old allegations is proven BS. We call conclusions in advance...contempt prior to investigation. http://thecivillibertarian.blogspot.com/2011/11/sexual-harrassment-sharon-bialek-wants.html
